Swept away...

Date 1 with S went swimmingly! S, if you will recall, is the Rico Suave I met during the drinks-in-my-lap-catastrophe at Clubhouse with J. A week after meeting he took me to dinner downtown. He picked me up in his BMW (can't go wrong with the Germans and, oh yes, they have come out with a new one! To drool please visit: http://www.bmwusa.com/) On the way to dinner I learned he a) likes fast cars b) likes cigars c) has been involved with politics d) prefers, as I do, to abandon shoes at any and every opportunity e) likes warm weather. There was, of course, much more but that covers the high points...at least for the car ride.
We ate at a Latin restaurant called National where our fab table provided an excellent view of the live salsa competition. After declaring a winner the dance floor opened and S schooled me in salsa, merengue and bachata (sp?). I do not think I did well but S insisted I was graceful and had natural rhythm. I think he was being kind...
I could go into more detail, but I won't;) Suffice it to say that it was the best date I've been on in a long time...
